In August 2023 Adobe released an update to their app and some customers have experienced problems opening downloadable products.  


If you receive an error saying the file is damaged or corrupted please be advised that the problem is not with the file itself.  To help remedy this problem please follow the below steps.  

  • Clear your browser cache and close your browser, then close their browser, 
  • Check the Adobe App to ensure you have the latest version and update it as needed
  • Close the Adobe app
    • Those with Adobe Acrobat Pro/Adobe Creative Cloud app should not sign out but close all open files  
  • Delete the product download that is giving you the error
  • Redownload the product
  • Reopen the file preferably using a browser plugin
  • If the file still won't open use a different browser (MS Edge, Chrome, DuckDuckGo)
