AMPP Digital Library Searching, Sorting, and Filtering
How do I combine search terms and filters to find an item I need?
- Search has been improved for more dynamic and accurate results. You can search for standards, books, and technical papers in several ways:
- Use quotation marks (“ ”) to search for exact phrases. For example, "corrosion monitoring" will return results that contain that exact phrase.
- Searching without quotation marks (e.g., corrosion monitoring) will return results that contain either word separately.
- Our enhanced filtering system is designed to include all key working areas within AMPP, ensuring a more comprehensive and precise search experience.
Can I search using keywords that are not part of the title?
- Yes! You can use quotation marks (“ ”) around specific keywords. For example, searching for "corrosion monitoring" will retrieve content where that phrase appears in descriptions, abstracts, or metadata, even if it's not in the title.
How can I refine my search to find exactly what I need?
- To maximize your search results:
- Use the enhanced search bar for more accurate matches.
- Apply the new filter options, which categorize content based on our updated taxonomy for easier navigation.
Can I filter for content that is free to me?
